More than 22,000 people felt the early-morning seismic tremor far east-south-east of Berkeley
A seismic tremor with a size of
4.3 shook the San Francisco Bay Area early on Monday,
waking up numerous individuals, with more than 22,000 saying they
felt it, according to the Joined together States Geological Survey.
The seismic tremor was fair east-south-east of Berkeley,
the overview said. It happened in the blink of an eye, sometime
recently, at 3 am PT.
People posted online that they felt their homes
shake. Narrows Zone Quick Travel (Bart) posted on X
that trains were running at decreased speeds as it
completes security track assessments. It told commuters
to anticipate delays of up to 20 minutes systemwide.
While 911 has received an increase in calls
from individuals who felt shaking, there have been no reports
of wounds in San Francisco at this time, the
city’s division of crisis administration posted on X.
The office said it has not gotten any harm reports.
San Francisco’s chairman, Dan Lurie, posted
online around the shudder, saying: “First responders
are evaluating any effect on our city, and we
will allow an overhaul afterward today.”
